What can I expect during my first therapy session?
During your first therapy session, we will discuss your concerns, goals, and background to understand your needs. This initial meeting is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get to know my approach to therapy.
We’ll work together to develop a plan tailored to your goals and preferences.
How long does each therapy session last?
Each therapy session typically lasts about 45 to 50 minutes. However, the duration may vary depending on the type of therapy and your individual needs. We can discuss and adjust the session length based on your preferences and goals.
How many sessions will I need to attend?
The number of sessions required varies based on individual goals and the nature of the issues being addressed. Some clients may benefit from just a few sessions, while others might need longer-term therapy. Together, we will regularly review your progress and adjust the frequency and duration of sessions as needed.
How often should I attend therapy sessions?
The frequency of therapy depends on your unique needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and consistency, while others may choose biweekly or monthly appointments over time.
We’ll discuss what feels right for you and adjust the schedule as needed to support your progress.
What if I feel nervous about starting therapy?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous before beginning therapy. Many people feel uncertain or vulnerable when opening up for the first time.
During our sessions, my goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard and respected. You’re welcome to share at your own pace — there’s no pressure to dive into everything right away.
Do you accept insurance, and how is payment handled?

Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?
Yes, We are a virtual only practice. Sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring a private and confidential environment for your therapy.
